SANKALPA




Sankalpa:- A Sanskrit word, sankalpa means "will, purpose, or determination." To make a sankalpa is to set an intention

When you come to Yoga your intention may be to become more flexible, to energize and revitalize your body,  maybe you would like to find some inner peace (balancing the nervous system) and bring your mind into positive thought patterns,  perhaps you are looking for a deeper understanding of Yogic Philosophy. 

Sankalpa Yoga incorporates the practices of:-

Pranayama - breath control,
   
Asana - Yogic postures

Mudra - subtle Yogic hand gestures that influence energy flow

Chant - the singing of Mantra

Nidra -Yoga Nidra is a systematic method of complete relaxation, holistically addressing our physiological, neurological, and subconscious needs.

Meditation -  A technique used to quiet the mind chatter enabling one to experience inner peace and balance.

Yoga Dance - Asana sequenced to music



Through the practice of Sankalpa Yoga you can come to fulfil  your intention joyfully
